Come join us for an evening of fun! We’ll be learning all about the French method of making macarons, including all of the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way. Each participant will end the night with a dozen assorted macarons, a goodie bag full of things you’ll need to bake macarons in your home kitchen, and, hopefully, the confidence to conquer the cookie! Refreshments and drinks will also be provided. The class will be divided into three sections:
Starting from scratch, I will guide you through the crucial steps of creating your macaron shell, from merengue, to macaronage, to piping, and, finally, to baking.
Learn the basics of macaron fillings and whip up your own batch of buttercream. You’ll get to fill your macaron shells and take them home to share (or not).
